Fairhazel is the moniker of 26-year-old musician Hugh Macdonald, raised in South Africa, France and the UK. He produces, mixes and masters all of his own music from his portable studio, and creates all his album art and social media content. Fairhazel’s single It Takes Time secured support from Spotify editorial playlists such as Fresh Finds, Indie Fresh Finds, All New Indie and more. He just wrapped a west coast tour as support for Blanco White. Prior to that, he supported The Longest Johns and opened for the indie-pop band Dizzy back in May on the UK leg of their tour. He’s headlined Jam In The Van, Rockwood Music Hall and Little Saint in Healdsburg, CA joining the ranks of musicians like Phoebe Bridgers, The War & Treaty, boygenius and more. He closed out 2023 by making his School Night debut in Hollywood and has plenty of new music in the works
