Ned Ashcroft was described by JazzFM as “very exciting…extraordinary” Despite being a relative newcomer he’s been building a fanbase throughout London since last year. Ashcroft combines folk / singer-songwriter vibes with rap fusion that has led to comparisons to the likes of Loyle Carner and Ed Sheeran, with other influences including Bill Withers, Amy Winehouse and London’s contemporary jazz and spoken word scenes. In November 2023, he set off on tour playing over 30 gigs in 30 days throughout London, and he is currently scheduling tours and live dates for 2024. He regularly performs as a duo with his close friend and musical accomplice Benjy Sandler on saxophone.
