Hailing from Glasgow, actor/musician Sara Rae was the front woman and songwriter in Sara ’N’ Junbug, enjoying plenty of media attention, UK tours and festivals.
Now embarking on a solo career, Rae has already supported the likes of Rachel Sermanni, Ben Abraham, performed at the Country to Country Festival at The Hydro and throughout the UK. Her debut single October earned her Artist of the Week in the Scotland On Sunday newspaper, airplay thanks to Frankie Francis and Jim Gellatly on Amazing Radio and just under 2,000 streams on Spotify. She’s also secured a slot at Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival on 29 July and just after the release of Catriohna on 3 July has a launch party booked at Glasgow’s The Glad Cafe on 13 July.
