The Shine

Highland five-piece The Shine, whose members hail from Kinlochleven and Fort William, blend Britpop melodies with acoustic folk influences. They’ve supported Kyle Falconer of The View, been named Artist of the Week in Scotland On Sunday, earned airplay on Amazing Radio and Nevis Radio, and performed at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, WestFest, the Downhill Mountain Bike World Cup and the Scottish Six Days Trial. The band have also helped raise awareness for Inverness mental health and suicide prevention charity Mikeysline. They perform with Off Axis at Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival on the Seedlings Stage on Friday 31 July at 11.45am.
